I was educated at Trowbridge Girls’ Grammar School (1967 – 1972) and Trowbridge College of Further Education (1972 – 1974) where I gained A levels in Social and Economic History, Sociology and English Language.

I have always been interested in becoming a family and funeral celebrant. From a young age I have always been keen to work in the event planning industry.
Originating from a Somerset town in the West Country, I moved to Bristol to do my nurse training in 1979. It was during my nurse training that I discovered the area I really connected with , understood and had a passion for, was Intensive Care Nursing. This led me to London to do the Intensive Care Nursing course and subsequent Staff Nurse and Sister’s posts.
We are all living in uncertain times right now. I was born in Guernsey and love island life, surrounded by beaches and living close to family and friends. I love hopping on a boat each summer to the neighbouring islands – Herm, Sark, Jersey and Alderney.
