My name is Emma Daniels and I am your Family, Wedding and Funeral Celebrant in Leicestershire. At the heart of everything I do is a deep belief in compassion, dignity, and the power of human connection.

I am married and  we have a wonderfully blended family of three children, two step‑children, and nine grandchildren ranging from lively toddlers to young adults finding their way in the world. Family is the centre of my life, and the joy, chaos, humour, and love that come with it have shaped the person and celebrant I am today. I live in a beautiful log cabin at Frisby Lakes Lodge Park, and every morning I wake up feeling as though I’m on holiday — surrounded by nature, peace, and a sense of grounding that I carry into my work.

Before becoming a celebrant, I spent 18 years as a nurse in neurology and elderly care. Those years taught me the privilege of being present at the most vulnerable moments of a person’s life — holding hands, listening to final wishes, and ensuring that every individual remained in control of their story. That experience has never left me. It shaped my understanding of dignity, empathy, and the quiet strength required to support people through profound moments.

My own life has also been touched by deep loss, including the heartbreaking death of my son in 2023 and the passing of my mum in 2025. These experiences have given me a lived understanding of grief — its complexity, its unpredictability, and its need for gentleness. I care fiercely about making someone’s day even a little bit better, whether through a kind word, a steady presence, or a ceremony that truly honours who they are. Everything I do is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and a genuine desire to walk alongside people with warmth and respect

 As a Leicestershire Celebrant, my business is built on the belief that every ceremony — whether a funeral, wedding, naming ceremony, or renewal of vows — should be personal, meaningful, and shaped entirely around the people at its heart. I don’t offer “standard” ceremonies; I create experiences that reflect real lives, real love, and real stories. When I work with families and couples, I take the time to listen deeply, to understand what matters to them, and to craft a ceremony that feels authentic, comforting, and true to their values.

Whether I’m helping a family say goodbye to a loved one, guiding a couple as they celebrate their commitment, or welcoming a new child into the world, my focus is always on creating a moment that feels tailor‑made and emotionally resonant.

My business is grounded in compassion, professionalism, and a calm, reassuring presence. Families often tell me they feel supported from the very first conversation — that they feel heard, understood, and gently guided through a process that can sometimes feel overwhelming.

For funerals, I work closely with families to capture the essence of the person they have lost, ensuring their ceremony reflects their personality, their story, and the love they leave behind.

For weddings and vow renewals, I help couples create a celebration that feels joyful, heartfelt, and unmistakably “them.” For naming ceremonies, I bring warmth, symbolism, and a sense of family connection that makes the moment truly special.
