Hello, my name is Solomon and I am your Funeral Celebrant in Berkshire. For as long as I can remember, I’ve believed in the beauty of family, love, and connection. These values have shaped how I live, love, and lead. I’ve been married to my incredible wife for over 12 years, and we’re raising two amazing children together. That journey has deepened my understanding of commitment, resilience, and celebration.

Over the past decade, I’ve had the honour of officiating and attending many weddings. Yet even now, I’m still moved every time two people stand beside one another and choose each other fully. That moment never loses its power. It’s honest, sacred, and deeply human.

My appreciation for ceremony started early. My mum tells me I used to sing one of her and my father’s wedding songs around the house, long before I understood what it meant. In 2011, when my father passed away at 60, the grief was overwhelming. I was 21 and chose to be the one who shared the news with our extended family. Later, I travelled to Nigeria with my mum for his burial. That experience left a mark on me. It taught me the importance of honouring life and saying goodbye well.

Becoming a celebrant wasn’t something I set out to do. It unfolded naturally through experience and relationship. Friends and family began asking me to be part of their most meaningful moments—weddings, naming ceremonies, and funerals. Every time, I felt privileged to hold space for something significant.

Now, I work closely with couples and families to create ceremonies that feel true to them. Whether it’s celebrating a new beginning or marking a heartfelt goodbye, my goal is to help shape moments that are personal, grounded, and memorable—for all the right reasons.
