Hi there I'm Will ; I'm a civil celebrant living in the midlands offering a bespoke, personalised ceremony for funerals, weddings, civil ceremonies and other family occasions. I am willing to travel all over the UK and abroad.

I write and perform comedy for the BBC and use my script writing skills to make sure each ceremony flows and tells a story of the loved ones involved; I also make sure each ceremony is concise, personable and memorable.

I love to run, cycle and support Leeds United (this in itself is a great struggle in life and provides plenty of opportunity for comedy).

My 26 year old son has severe learning difficulties having been brain damaged since birth but observing how he lives his life has taught me a lot about how I should live mine; he lives in the moment and takes joy in the simplest of things and this I feel is so important for us all; we often lose sight of the little things that can bring such happiness and I always try and reflect this in the ceremonies I perform.

I am a mindfulness coach which also teaches us to take a moment, stand back, relax and enjoy all that life has to offer.

I believe in celebrating love and life and this is also reflected in each ceremony. An initial meeting will last as long as you need it to, it's what you want from the occasion that matters most.

I'm open to any ideas and will of course suggest many of my own to make every ceremony unique and reflective of the life and loves of those involved.

I have found mindfulness techniques also help greatly in times of stress, depression and nervousness. This can be really useful when clients have to speak in front of crowds or tackle 'tricky' times in life.

In times of celebration I use my humour both in writing and delivery to give the ceremony life, momentum and a sense of fun.

Even on sad occasions gentle humour can enable us to cope with challenging moments and I always try and bring this to the fore in funerals and memorials.

I do hope you will consider me for your choice of celebrant. Im a little OCD about timekeeping and making sure each ceremony doesn't drag or feel tiresome. I do believe every occasion should be marked with respect but also reflect the humour of those involved.

I want this to be a memorable occasion for all involved for all the right reasons; let's always look on the bright side of life.
