Fundamentally, I’m a human who loves humans, which is what led me to become a therapist. I hold a deep reverence for the richness and complexity of human experience—the joy, pain, and subtle moments in between. Our stories shape us, and every stage of life deserves to be witnessed, honoured, and held with care.

Whether you’re stepping into marriage with your soulmate, welcoming a child into the world, or saying a deeply felt goodbye to a loved one, these hallmarks of life matter. They deserve to be marked with presence, meaning, and love. This belief has long been part of who I am—even before I discovered celebrancy as a profession, but it was personal experiences of love and loss that gently guided me into it.

I will always remember walking proudly down the aisle on the day my best friend got married, knowing the ceremony I had helped craft reflected the very heart of their love. It was a moment of connection and celebration that stayed with all of us— not just with the couple, but to everyone who witnessed it.

Experiencing the loss of two family members in short succession, and arguably too soon, drove me into celebrancy. I realised how vital a celebrant and a funeral is to the grieving process. Amidst grief, when words feel heavy and hard to find, a celebrant becomes a steady presence, gently gathering the pieces of a person’s life and shaping them into a story that honours who they were and how they were loved.

Whether I’m working with clients in the therapy room or standing beside you as a celebrant, my intention is always the same: to honour your story, your truth, and the beauty of being human.

With a passion for storytelling and a heart for people, I am a qualified celebrant dedicated to creating meaningful, memorable ceremonies that reflect the unique lives and values of each individual or couple.

My role is to listen closely, to understand your values, your vision, and your voice so that these can be reflected in your ceremony. My business is called ‘Storyteller Celebrant’ because I pride myself on curating ceremonies that feel authentic to the individual or couple it is for.

Perhaps your lost loved one had a larger-than-life character, your to-be wed has a trademark sense of humour, or your child has an affinity with something special. Whatever it is that makes you, you or them, them, we capture through our discussions and distil into the words and feel of the event. It is a guiding principle to me that your ceremony has a heart and soul that mirrors the couple or individual it is for.

Based in the South-West, I’m available to travel and welcome clients. I offer flexible packages, collaborative curating, and support every step of the way—from our first conversation to the final applause.
