Wedding Celebrant in Essex

Hi my name is Tracy, thank you for taking the time to read this and to consider me as your Celebrant.

I’m originally from North London but now live in Essex with my husband and our crazy Cockerpoo Ruby. We have been married for 37 years and have two grown up sons and two grandsons. Family is very important to us and we love spending time together especially our annual holiday with the boys and our extended family.

I recently took early retirement from my 40 year career in banking and whilst being a celebrant is a completely different role those years in banking have given me many transferable skills including working with a diverse group of people and enabling me to be respectful of others faith and beliefs. Retiring has also allowed me to spend more time with my grandsons and Ruby both of which I love doing although I’m not sure which is the hardest.

When I’m not being Nanny or I’m not creating a ceremony I love reading or listening to an audio book especially a Lynda la Plant, Mark Billingham, Ian Rankin or a Peter James novel.

Since having Ruby I’ve become part of a lovely dog walking community and we meet several times a week for long walks and socialising for both the pups and for us.

If there are any free hours in my week I also volunteer as a researcher for the bank that I worked for, this involves researching the military careers of members of staff that were killed in either of the world wars in order for them to be honoured on a central memorial at the banks head office.

Fully trained by United Kingdom Society of Celebrants (UKSOC) as a Family Celebrant enabling me to create and conduct ceremonies including Wedding, Renewal of Vows, Naming Ceremonies and Civil Commitments or indeed a ceremony for any of your special celebrations.

Whether you are familiar with the role of a Celebrant or this will be the first time you have engaged the services of one I would like to ensure you that as your celebrant we will work together to create a bespoke ceremony whatever the occasion. From our initial meeting at which we will get to know each other right through to the ceremony itself it will be uniquely your day.

Unlike other officiant led ceremonies, where you hold your ceremony and what is included in that ceremony is not governed by regulations, when your ceremony is celebrant led it is created around your vision of your perfect day.

It is always an honour to be part of someones special day and no two ceremonies are the same, your ceremony will be yours alone completely created personally for you.

Many ceremonies will involve friends or family but it may be that you want something more personal with just the couple for a wedding or the parents if it’s a naming ceremony, if you choose to have loved ones involved there are many elements in which they can be involved.

I would love to be part of your celebration and to be able to create your perfect ceremony.
