Wedding and Funeral Celebrant in Dorset

I am an independent wedding celebrant based in Dorset but happy to travel anywhere I’m required.

Originally from North Yorkshire, I have been married for 25 years and have two grown-up children. My top 5 loves are my family, the outdoors and living in the beautiful county of Dorset means that I am able to make the most of what it has to offer, especially as I have two dogs who love a good walk. Restoration and renovation , weather it be houses, cars or furniture is also high on my list. Music, I have a very eclectic ear, but I am partial to a bit of 80’s/90’s dance music. Last, but not least, I love to read and write poetry, I don’t get much time to do either, but when I do, I get lost in the moment.

My working background is in management, training and education. Using my UKSOC training and working as a celebrant, I have been able to transfer and adapt my skills to offer you a great opportunity to celebrate your love and commitment in an extraordinary way.

Ultimately, I understand how important your wedding day is to you I am committed to you for the whole day. I value collaboration and take the initiative, I listen to you and assess your needs and wishes to determine your vision for your ceremony. I welcome ideas and perspectives to ensure a creative and engaging connection with you and your guests, taking everyone on an emotional journey. I am willing to help with ideas, information, ceremony design and content. I will help to devise ways to include family, friends, traditions, faiths and cultures. I can help to create a great atmosphere in a calm professional manner, making everybody feel welcome and acting at all times with your best interests at heart. I am looking for extra ordinary people with whom to create magical memories.

Distinctly different, I offer tailor made ceremonies, which capture the uniqueness of love and life, for clients who are looking for a ceremony as individual as themselves.

If you are looking to celebrate and personalise one of life’s milestone events you need the expert services of a Celebrant. Being a small part of what makes a day so special is an honour which should never be taken for granted. I knew that this was something that I had to do.

Training as a celebrant has give me the opportunity to be able to offer unlimited possibilities to anyone who is looking for something completely different.

Trained and supported by UKSOC (United Kingdom Society of Celebrants) it is important to me that whatever the occasion your faith or beliefs are reflected, enabling you to have your ceremony your way – Wether it be secular, humanist, religious or spiritual.

My aim is to ensure that your story is threaded throughout your ceremony creating a “one off” experience, that encapsulates the personalities and wishes of those involved. Ultimately, you have the freedom and flexibility to have a ceremony created and delivered in a way which suits you you will need a great listener, a creative writer and an engaging performer all of which are essential skills for Celebrant look no further I fit the bill! Many years in training and education have sent me in good stead for this role no boring scrips! No strict time limitations! No worry about registrar availability! You can have it all, just the way you want it with a bespoke, meaningful ceremony held wherever, whenever and however you wish. Celebrations of love and life are made up of many things coming together to make a memorable beautiful experience and creating personally written ceremonies that capture a moment in time, can only be achieved by working closely with you as a couple to ensure that you have a wedding you have always hoped for.
