Hi there, my name is Jennifer Goodall, your  Family Celebrant in Belfast. based in Newtownabbey County Antrim, and willing to travel Northern Ireland, with other Locations available on request. My background is actually in sport, I'm a retired Rugby Union player, having played for over 14 years. I also have a background in Sports Massage Therapy, where I have been helping people with their aches and pains for over 10 years, and am currently a Lecturer in Sport specialising in sports massage and sports injury management.

I'm married to the wonderful Laura, we've been together for 12 years, and together we take care of our little rescue dog, Scout.

I am an avid cook, love to sing, and have a guilty pleasure in my love of Eurovision.

Why did I want to become a Family and Wedding Celebrant?

That's easy, I've been to many family celebrations, and one thing that always stuck with me, was the feelings of joy and togetherness as families and friends gathered to celebrate one of their own. It's a highlight in a families timeline, a real red letter day. And I would be honoured to play a part in your day, and make it the day you've always wanted!

Through my own life journey, I've seen the many different styles and genres of weddings and celebrations my friends and family have had, my personal favourite being a request for everyone at a wedding to dress in medieval fantasy! But, I've learned a lot about what it means to be married, to commit to someone for the rest of your life, and have a wedding that reflects your relationship, and your personalities individually, and as a couple.

I'm excited to help you make some beautiful memories to treasure forever!

Yes that is absolutely a play on my Surname, you can blame my wife for that.

I am a Family and Wedding Celebrant offering specialised, bespoke weddings, vow renewals, naming ceremonies and re-naming ceremonies.

What's a re-naming ceremony? Well, many people in our LGBTQ+ community have their own reasons to change their name, and what better way to celebrate their true selves, than by having a celebration of their new name!

All of the services I offer will be tailored to you, I love to learn about the people I'm working with, to really get the essence of what you want out of your day, and try my best to make it a reality.

I love injecting a bit of humour and fun into all of my work, so if you're looking for humdrum, vanilla services? I am probably not the woman for you! I want to give you a day to remember for all the right reasons, and I'm excited to meet you.

I'm a particular fan of themed celebrations, so don't be afraid to suggest something a bit off the wall, I'm full of ideas to make your day unique, whether that's your wedding, renewing your vows with the love of your life, naming your children or revealing your true self, I can't wait to get started in helping to make your day unreal. So if you want to dress your baby as the child from the Mandalorian, you want to be married by Elvis (a 5ft 3 Elvis in miniature anyway) or you want a beautiful, classy, service. I can help.

I love to get to know my clients first and foremost. We're going to be creating something special and I want to make sure I capture the essence of your family, put that into words, and create a memorable ceremony that you'll look back on with a full heart!
